Model SD1000: De-Multiplexer
Flair Multiplexers are used to monitor typical CC or OC EOL alarm loops and communicate loop status information serially to a De-Multiplexer. Up to 120 sensors may be connected to one RS485 communication bus. The De-Multiplexer is used to decode loop status transmitted from the Multiplexer and drive individual zone outputs to power LEDs, relays or trigger other alarm panels.
The SD1000 De-Multiplexer is designed to be used to decode loop status transmitted from the Multiplexer and drive individual zone outputs to power LEDs, relays or trigger other alarm panels. Individual Zone Outputs may be increased by daisy chaining multiple De-Multiplexers.
A typical Point of Sale type printer may be connected to De-Multiplexer to print log of events or, with additional software, the De-Multiplexer could connect directly to a PC for event logging.
Thirty Two (32) Individual Zone Outputs, Expandable, 700 mA, Bus – RS485 1/2 Duplex (2 conductor shielded with drain), One Common Sounder and one Form C Relay, Four Common Inputs (Silence, Reset), Three Common Outputs (Siren, Trouble), Two RS232 Ports for Linking Multiple De-multiplexers.
