Model SM2000: Multiplexer

Flair Multiplexers are used to monitor typical CC or OC EOL alarm loops and communicate loop status information serially to a De-Multiplexer. Up to 120 sensors may be connected to one RS485 communication bus. The De-Multiplexer is used to decode loop status transmitted from the Multiplexer and drive individual zone outputs to power LEDs, relays or trigger other alarm panels.

The SM2000 Multiplexer is designed to be used to monitor a typical CC or OC EOL Alarm Loop and communicate loop status information serially to a De-Multiplexer. Up to fifteen (15) Multiplexers may be connected to one communication bus.

Eight (8) EOL Supervised Alarm Inputs, 50 mA, Input Addressing Dip Switch, Bus – RS485 1/2 Duplex (2 Conductor shielded with drain)
